Metro connectivity, Nambiar district 25 is strategically placed close to Muthanallur Cross which is a crucial point in the upcoming Namma Metro Red Line which is also referred to as the Hebbal Sarjapur Line. This line is a part of the Phase -3B of the Metro Project and is said to be functional come the year 2030.
The township is being constructed within a high potential zone around Sarjapur Road within east Bangalore. Nambiar District 25 also known as Nambiar Soho of silicon valley is a colossal integrated township covering not only residential apartments but tech parks, retail outlets, eating joints and malls. The place is well connected with a spur road which directly connects it with Chandapura-Dommasandra Road which then joins State Highway 35(SH 35). In addition to this today it has good connectivity to prime highways like NH 44, NH 4, Varthur Main Road, Huskur and also Hosur Road.
Ambalipura-Sarjapur Road has the red line metro stations that further augment the connectivity to the area. The metro is set to allow easy movement towards key employment areas and provide linkages to the blue, purple and pink lines (which will be operational later). This 37 Kilometer mass rapid transport system will have underground and above ground stations.
The metro’s purpose is to facilitate the commute to the tech zones, mainly. The elevated section of the metro line is expected to pass through Sarjapur IT corridor and then continue underground along the Koramangala corridor passing through the CBD and coming above ground with elevated stations at Ganganagar and Hebbal. It will connect various parts of the city as 28 stations are being built across the Red Line.
